President Tokayev receives Chairman of Supreme Court

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a meeting with Chairman of Kazakhstan's Supreme Court Zhakip Asanov discussed impementation of 16 draft bills aimed at betterment of the courts and building trust in judges, Akorda press service said. The issues of providing the judicial system with qualified personnel were also considered. According to Asanov, due to the measures taken this year, there will be no outsiders among the judges. In the next 2 years and a half, the judicial system will be completely cleared of incompetent personnel.
Tokayev upon conclusion gave a number of specific instructions to improve the quality of administration of justice and implement proposals for further modernization of the judicial system, outlined in the Action Plan for the electoral program actualization.
