Bishkek, June 26, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has been addressing the issue of tourist safety since the beginning of 2019, Kalys Akhmatov, the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
The Ministries of Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations, Health and the Tourism Department carry out security work.
"In particular, we check boarding houses for bathing conditions. For example, there are about 400 boarding houses in Kyrgyzstan, of which 146 meet the requirements. We have been organizing training for work in boarding houses over four years," he said.
Akhmatov also said that work is underway to ensure the safety of tourists in the mountains, because the mountains are one of the main types of tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
The deputy minister noted Turkey has the best experience in ensuring the safety of tourists. In this regard, Kyrgyzstan actively uses the experience of this country.
