"We are often approached by suppliers of goods and services of the mining industry and other sectors of the economy. So the idea to bring them together in one place, to introduce each other, to help establish ties for further joint projects arose," Askar Sydykov, IBC Executive Director told.
In parallel with suppliers of direct goods and services (design, exploration, drilling and blasting, testing), the exhibition also included presentation of supply of food, clothing, lighting equipment.
"Recently, the mining industry has been developing rapidly in our country, and the demand for services is growing accordingly. We encourage local companies to work in Kyrgyzstan, more local people to be involved in the work, learn and develop. Then investors will have less problems with the local population," Aigerim Omokoyeva, Executive Director of Adzhi-Service LLC said.
The exhibition’s organizers and participants believe that focusing on the development of production in the regions, the government pays special attention to the expansion of local procurement. Such events will stimulate local procurement demonstrate transparency of procurement procedures and build a permanent dialogue between all sides.
