Imams to start registering nikah in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Nikah - marriage in Islam - will be registered in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims reported. The decision was made after imams meeting in the city of Osh.
During the talks, chairman of the devision on fatwas, religious literature and halal industries of the Administration Ravshan Eratov informed the participants about the rules of registering marriages.
78 mosques have passed the state registration in Osh region. Now imams will conduct nikah ceremony only according to the rules of registration of marriages in Islam.
