Osh to host cultural events for children under Happy Childhood slogan

Osh, July 1, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynai Omurbekova said that all municipal government will host cultural, sports, recreational and entertainment events on July 1-August 18 under the slogan " Health Caravan", " Friendship Yard", as part of the Child and Youth Friendly Municipalities UNICEF project. Various contests with prizes and gifts for their participants will be held.
The complex program of these events under the Happy Childhood slogan was discussed in Osh Mayor's Office with the participation of Deputy Mayor Nurbek Kadyrov, law enforcement officials, heads and representatives of a number of specialized city organizations and departments, and municipal services.
The events are planned during each week in municipal governments, the participants of which will include children from poor and socially vulnerable families, orphans and half-orphans.
The Program of events includes various cultural and sports events, including cycling, national sports, swimming, tennis and others. The main task is to organize quality recreation for children and teenagers.
At the end of the events the best municipal governments will be awarded for organizing quality rest for children.
