Military from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan partake in Steppe Eagle 2019 drill in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The international peacekeeping exercise Steppe Eagle 2019 was held at the Ili training ground in Almaty region from June 17-28. Servicemen from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, UK, United States, observers from Uzbekistan, India and Turkey partook in the drill.
Military personnel practiced in escorting humanitarian cargo, patrolling, provision of medical assistance, holding negotiations with refugees, etc.
The Steppe Eagle exercise has been annually held since 2003.
