AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin visited Arys and inspected the affected residential areas and social facilities of the town. The Prime Minister met local community leaders and specialists involved into liquidation of the emergency situation.
All regions of Kazakhstan will be involved into reconstruction of the town. The damaged buildings will be divided between the regions of the country, which will dispatch their teams of builders.
The Prime Minister ordered to repair all residential buildings in the town within a month and to pay 100,000 tenge compensation to every resident of the town.
"All efforts should be made for prompt reconstruction of Arys. We should repair and build the damaged facilities before August 1, 2019," PM Mamin ordered.
The Prime Minister added the ammunition will be withdrawn within 2 weeks. The warehouse will be relocated.
According to preliminary estimations, 104 blocks of apartments, around 7,200 houses, 14 schools, 2 hospitals, 28 kindergartens and local government buildings were damaged as a result of explosions at the warehouse of ammunitions in the town.
