Kyrgyzstan’s tailors take part in international exhibition in Barcelona

Bishkek, July 1, 2019 /Kabar/. Modern innovations, design thinking and advanced digital technologies, automatic complexes and robotic machines - this and much more were presented at the leading International Exhibition of Textile Machinery (ITMA), held on June 20-26 in Barcelona in the Fira de Barcelona, Gran via exhibition complex.
The ITMA is an international exhibition platform for the textile and clothing industry, which is held every four years.
25 representatives of Kyrgyz sewing enterprises with the support of the International Trade Centre (ITC) took part in conferences, forums and discussion platforms organized as part of the exhibition. They also got acquainted with innovative developments in the garment industry, new approaches to production management, taking into account environmental and technological solutions, modern equipment, presented in 19 pavilions of the exhibition complex.
Nurjan Kunasova, the participant from Kyrgyzstan, the head of the Velvet sewing company noted that Kyrgyz textile enterprises should keep up with the times and introduce new technologies.
Svetlana Marshanina, the owner of sewing company, said that this exhibition differed from the past by huge number of participants.
"We saw a technique that makes expensive guipure fabrics for the first time. We were also surprised by robot machines replacing manual labor. Of course, we were interested in the presented equipment, which will allow us to promote our production," Svetlana Marshanina shared her impressions.
