Eco-airport to be built in Andijan

AKIPRESS.COM - Andijan authorities plan construction of an eco-airport that will use solar power, Uzbekistan 24 TV channel reports. The terminal of the airport will have the Uzbek national anthem shape.
At present, Andijan airport does not function due to critical condition of its infrastructure and dilapidated runway.
Chinese investors reportedly showed interest in the project.
Construction is supposed to start in August or September.
