Bishkek, July 3, 2019. /Kabar/. A meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov and Head of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic Shamsh Kassim-Lakhaon was held in Bishkek.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the sides discussed cooperation issues and promising areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the AKDN, in particular in the social and economic sphere, education, health care, small and medium business development.
They noted that the AKDN's programs in Kyrgyzstan aimed at supporting the development of mountainous regions advance the implementation of the Decree of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov on Declaring 2019 the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization.
Aidarbekov expressed hope that the projects and programs of the ACDN will continue to contribute to the sustainable development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
