Ex-Chief of Kazakh Central Bank comments on reports on alleged probe against him

AKIPRESS.COM - Daniyar Akishev, former Chairman of the Central Bank of Kazakhstan, said the reports about the alleged criminal case opened against him are not true.
Akishev told Tengrinews that the General Prosecutor's Office had reported about absence of any probes against him.
"I am at work. Our press service will release a statement if necessary. I am at work and there is no criminal case. This information is unreliable," Akishev said.
Akishev was reported to be probed by some Kazakh news outlets.
Spokesperson of the first president Aidos Ukibay denied the reports, too.
