AKIPRESS.COM - The suspect of beating a Nigerian citizen in Bishkek has been found and arrested on July 3, police said.
The detainee was identified as K.E. born in 1997, a native of Chuy region.
He was placed in temporary detention facility for inflicting serious harm to health.
Eyewitnesses told AKIpress that a Nigerian citizen fell down and hit his head on the asphalt after a local man punched him in the face on July 2 near the TSUM. The man was hospitalized and identified as T.Abubakar, a principal of a language school in Bishkek Cambridge School.
After the incident, Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev instructed Interior Minister Kashkar Junushaliyev to find those responsible for beating of a Nigerian citizen in the center Bishkek as soon as possible.
