EBRD invests $8 billion in economy of Kazakhstan in total

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairperson of the Senate of Kazakhstan Dariga Nazarbayeva held a meeting with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Sir Suma Chakrabarti, the Senate press service said. The EBRD has invested almost $8 billion in implementation of 240 projects in Kazakhstan since it obtained independence.
The Speaker underlined that implementation of these projects made a great contribution to the country's economy.
According to the EBRD President, priority areas for cooperation are development of small and medium-small business, financial sector, digitalization, agriculture and staff training.
