Kyrgyz dishes and folklore presented at cultural event in Germany

Bishkek, July 4, 2019. /Kabar/. Consul of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Germany took part in the official opening of the 38th International Holiday in Bad Nauheim (the State of Hesse), which is an annual event, bringing together representatives of different nationalities for the purpose of their tolerant attitude towards each other, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
The Kyrgyz Diaspora was represented by compatriots living in the State of Hesse, who recently established a new public association of Kyrgyz people called BIZ, which is an abbreviation of the words "Education, Initiative, Cooperation" in German.( Bildung, Initiative, Zusammenarbeit).
During the festival, the general German public and representatives of cultural organizations of other nationalities were presented with dishes of Kyrgyz national cuisine and, under their applause, with numbers of Kyrgyz folklore.
In his welcoming speech, the Kyrgyz consul briefly outlined the main directions of political development of Kyrgyzstan, including in the context of building a parliamentary democracy, as well as historical ties between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
The festival participants showed a keen interest in Kyrgyzstan, many of which expressed a desire to visit the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
