Bishkek, July 6, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and the European Union signed a Financial Agreement on the education program in the amount of EUR 35.76 million for 2019-2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov told after the talks with the High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union Federica Mogherini.
He noted that this is the budget support of the European Union within the framework of the EU Multi-Year Indicative Program for the Kyrgyz Republic.
"This EU assistance is aimed at supporting the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the implementation of structural reforms in the education sector. We thank the European Union for supporting the priority directions of development of our country," he said.
