Delegation of National Guard of Kyrgyzstan visits China

Bishkek, July 8, 2019. / Kabar /. The delegation of the National Guard of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic led by Commander Colonel Ergeshov visited the People's Republic of China on July 1 - 5, 2019.
The press service of the National Guard reported that, the program of the visit included a visit and familiarization with the vital activities, functions and tasks of the training center of the combined Xinjiang unit of the People’s Armed Police of China.
A demonstrations on how to eliminate riots, illegal armed gangs and the release of hostages captured by terrorists on board of aircraft, as well as demonstration of hand-to-hand combat techniques were organized.
During the visit, a meeting was held with commander of the People’s Armed Police of China, Colonel-General Wang Ning.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of conducting a joint anti-terrorism exercise "Cooperation - 2019" and military-technical cooperation.
The command of the People’s Armed Militia of China noted that the tasks of the two structures for the protection of important state and strategic facilities, the fight against terrorism and the accumulated experience will bring the parties closer together and make cooperation useful and fruitful.
The main task of the trip was establishing and developing bilateral cooperation, deepening aspects of the development of relations in various areas.
The parties signed an agreement on the exchange of information, experience, training of specialists and training officers, the provision of military technical assistance.
