There is no shortage of drugs for HIV / AIDS patients in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Minister of Health Erkin Checheybaev told at on-site press conference of 24.kg news agency.
According to him, at the same time, there is another problem - patients refuse treatment.
"Patients explain their refusal by the fact that the drugs are heavy and have side effects. Many of them stop taking ARV drugs. One of the objectives of the Paris Declaration is to achieve 90-90-90 goals, as a result, to achieve awareness of 90 percent of patients of HIV, 90 percent should get access to treatment and 90 percent - take medications," Erkin Checheybaev said.
