Vnesheconombank to provide 174 million Euros loans to Uzbekistan for purchase of Russian high-tech products

AKIPRESS.COM - Russia's Vnesheconombank will provide loans for 174 million Euros to Uzbekistan to support supply of high-tech products by Russia, RBK reports. Possible projects can include purchase of trains for Tashkent underground. A loan agreement on delivery of 5 trains and supporting resources was signed in late May between the National Bank of Uzbekistan and Vnesheconombank during the official visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Uzbekistan.
Other projects may include projects in energy sector, infrastructure, urban environment.
