Child mortality rate declining in Kyrgyzstan yearly – statistical committee

AKIPRESS.COM - Child mortality rate is declining in Kyrgyzstan yearly. This information came from the a press conference in the National Statistical Committee. 18 deaths per 1,000 children under 5 years of age were registered in 2018.
15 deaths per 1,000 infants were registered in the same period.
Compared to 1990, the child mortality rate has dropped 2 times. The highest mortality rate was registered in 1993 - 45 deaths per 1,000 children under 5 years, 32 deaths per 1,000 infants.
