Eighth Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council kicks off in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 12, 2019. / Kabar /. A meeting of the 8th Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council has begun in Bishkek with the participation of Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, who arrived in Bishkek for official visit.
Several events are planned during Mamin’s official visit, in particular, besides the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council, there be also bilateral meetings in narrow and extended formats.
The sides will discuss the development of trade and economic cooperation, water and energy development, cooperation in industrial cooperation, strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
The agenda also includes the discussion of cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, transport, culture, tourism and education.
The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan will meet with President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
Following the official visit, it is planned to sign a number of documents.
