Oil output in Kazakhstan falls to 3%

AKIPRESS.COM - A crude oil production in Kazakhstan went down by 3% within 5 months of 2019 making 31.2 million tons, the Ministry of Energy reported.
Almost one-third of the output (60.9%) belongs to Atyrau region (19 million tons - 3.4% per year). The largest crude oil producers in the region are Kashagan field, Tengiz field, Embamunaigaz JSC and etc.
The Ministry says the output will increase by the end of this year amounting to 89 million tons.
23.7% are produced by Mangistau region and 7.8% by Kyzylorda region.
Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev said that Kazakhstan this year will produce 89 million tons. This figure is planned after rehabilitation of Kashagan, Karagacha and Tengiz fields.
The main importers of the Kazakh oil are Italy, France anf South Korea.
