AKIPRESS.COM - The share of tourism in GDP of Kazakhstan will grow by 8% by 2025, Prime Minister Askar Mamin told an extended government meeting on Monday, vlast.kz reported.
According to him, implementation of a new program of tourism until 2025 implies investment of 600 billion tenge in this sphere and this will allow to create 200 thousand jobs.
Mamin said that development of a transport and logistics complex by boosting transit, trade and logistics capacities and reconstruction of local roads will create about 150,000 new jobs and bring 10% growth of this sphere in GDP.
Online trading has a great potential for creation of jobs, the PM noted.
The volume of purchases on Kazakhstan Internet services will increase to 500 billion tenge by 2025, according to him.
