PM Abylgaziev takes part in opening of SSEP new hospital

Bishkek, July 15, 2019. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev took part in the opening ceremony of new hospital of the State Service for Execution of Punishment (SSEP) in Bishkek.
"Today we see great changes and updates in the penal and judicial systems. The probation institution is being actively implemented, we are moving towards humanization, so that all the necessary conditions are created for the convicts, so that after release from prison they will be socialized. We are taking big steps in this direction," he said.
He said despite these social issues of employees remain unresolved. "From the day of independence, the system of execution of punishment has remained without attention. Now we have begun to pay attention. The law should work and be above all. And a lot of work is being done in this direction," he said.
The prime minister also thanked the international donors, who continue to provide financial, advisory, technical and other assistance to address social problems in the country.
"I'm sure this hospital will be a very good support to you. I congratulate you on this event," Abylgaziev said.
In 2019, the panel decided to organize a polyclinic and a hospital on the basis of colony-settlement. The organization was completed in three months. More than 15,000 veterans, employees of the SSEP and their families can receive treatment at this facility. The hospital has 40 medical staff.
