Delegation from Batken visits Great Silk Road Festival in Uzbekistan

Osh, July 15, 2019. /Kabar/. A delegation from Batken Oblast headed by Governor Akram Madumarov took part in the Great Silk Road Festival, held in Fergana Region of Uzbekistan.
The Kyrgyz delegation was solemnly welcomed by the leadership of the Fergana Region at the Vodil checkpoint. Further, head of Fergana Region Shukhrat Ganiyev acquainted Governor Madumarov with the activities of local enterprises, they also discussed the development of bilateral relations between the two regions.
The festival was attended by about 20 countries, which got acquainted with the life and culture of the local people, who lived during the Great Silk Road. This festival was organized by Uzbekistan for the first time and they intend to continue this tradition.
Governor Akram Madumarov thanked his colleague for his special hospitality, and said that such festivals will strengthen the friendship between the two nations, and improve bilateral relations between the two countries.
