80yo Uzbek applicant submits documents for admission to higher education

Tashkent, July 15, 2019. /Kabar/. Tukhtamish Sultonov, an 80-year-old resident of Surxondaryo Region (Uzbekistan), has submitted his documents for admission to Samarkand State University.
"The oldest applicant chose the following directions - the methodology of teaching biology at Samarkand State University, as well as treatment and pediatrics at the Termez branch of Tashkent Medical Academy," the press service of the Uzbek Agency of State Services reported.
To date, 102 thousand 678 applicants have registered via centers for admission to higher education institutions. Of these, 49 thousand 307 were graduates of 2019 and 53,371 of previous years.
