ERG to allocate €200 million for renewal of electrofilters in Aluminium of Kazakhstan JSC

AKIPRESS.COM - The project on phased replacement of gas cleaning equipment of a sintering shop, which costs 200 million euro, has been launched in the Aluminium of Kazakhstan JSC (an enterprise of The Eurasian Resources Group (ERG)), the company said. According to the statement, the project on renewal of electrofilter was launched at the Pavlodar Alumina Refinery.
The project on reconstruction of electrofilters launched at the Pavlodar Alumina Refinery is very important step to the safe and more sustainable production. This is a modern technology in terms of waste cleaning, chief of the department of environmental protection of the company Rinat Sarlybayev said.
A large-scale environmental modernization will be implemented by ThyssenKrupp company, which operates in partnership with the Pavlodar Alumina Refinery.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the ERG on reduction of air emission. The group strategy will allow reduce solid emission at the ERG plants and nearing to the European Union standards requirements on air quality, the statement reads.
