Uzbekistan, Spain mull launch of international cycling tour

AKIPRESS.COM - Spain's Truebasport has suggested development of a cycling system in Uzbekistan. This information came from the roundtable discussion organized by the State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan held a round table discussion on development of cycling as one of the ways to boost tourism.
The event was attended by representatives of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan, top managers of Spain's Truebasport.
The State Tourism Committee suggested Truebasport to organize a joint international cycling tour Tour de Silk Road.
Such tour will allow to bring famous cyclists to the country. It will promote healthy lifestyles and will allow to develop inter-city cycling infrastructure, the State Tourism Committee said.
