Kyrgyz General Staff head receives Xinjiang Military District of China commissioner

Bishkek, July 16, 2019. /Kabar/. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Rayimberdi Duishenbiev received Xinjiang Military District Commissioner, Lieutenant General Li Wei, the press service of the Kyrgyz General Staff said.
On the same day, First Deputy Chief of the Kyrgyz General Staff, Colonel Nurlan Kiresheyev, and Chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, Colonel Ularbek Sharsheyev had bilateral meetings with the delegation of the Xinjiang Military District.
In the course of the meetings, the sides stressed the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation in the military sphere, as well as the need for further development of cooperation between defense ministries.
The Kyrgyz and Chinese sides noted the progress achieved in the field of mutual visits, training of military personnel, military and technical cooperation and joint military and operational training activities.
