Branch of South Korean medical devices plant opened in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 16, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jenish Razakov took part in the opening ceremony of a branch of the BK Medicare South Korean medical devices plant in Bishkek.
The deputy prime minister congratulated the company on the opening and wished success in the development of production, the press service of the Government reported.
"The opening of a medical devices manufacturing plant in Bishkek is a good start for further development and strengthening of bilateral relations between our country and the Republic of Korea," he said.
"We have a strong interest in the development of the production potential on release of medicines and medical devices on our territory. The pharmaceutical policy of our state is aimed at providing the population with quality and affordable medicines and products," he said.
Jenish Razakov stressed that the BK Medicare has a good opportunity and the prospect of entering the pharmaceutical market of the Eurasian Economic Union.
"To date, the company has created 50 jobs, and up to 500 are expected to be created in the future," Razakov said.
The company plans to produce more than 180 million medical plasters for various purposes annually on the basis of modern production equipment.
The BK Medicare plans to export medical products manufactured in Kyrgyzstan to neighboring countries and abroad.
