Earthquake with 6 magnitude in epicenter jolts southern Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The quake with about 6 magnitude in the epicenter has been recorded in Kyrgyzstan on July 16 at 4:45 pm local time, the Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences reported. The jolt was centered 10 km south-east of Sary-Otek village, 20 km south-east of Aidarken village, 38 km east of Batken town.
Tremors in the settlements were felt at 2-5 points.
Uzbek media say tremors were also felt in Tashkent (2 points), Namangan (2 points), Andijan (2 points) and Ferghana (3 points).
