Kyrgyz scientists patent new method to treat cancer

According to Kyrgyzpatent's bulletins, a method for treating oncological diseases in an experiment involves radiation therapy of tumors and the administration of a medicinal product based on plant materials, characterized in that pectin obtained from beet pulp or citrus low molecular weight pectin is used as a medicinal product. Pectin is administered intragastrally during 7 days at a dosage of 650 mg / kg.
