AKIPRESS.COM - Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Amaniyaz Erzhanov met with representatives of Tesla Motors company, Tengrinews.kz reported. The sides discussed bilateral cooperation, including participation of the company in the infrastructural projects of Kazakhstan, production of automobiles and creation of a network of electric stations in Kazakhstan, the Ministry said in press release.
Erzhanov said the Ministry is interested in cooperation and briefed on the upcoming plans on development of an automobile manufacturing sector.
Elon Musk, CEO of the company earlier promised to open service centers and charging stations for cars in Kazakhstan in 2019.
