China to donate supercomputers to Kazakhstan as part of Tokayev’s state visit

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev this September will pay a state visit to China, KazTag reported. Within his visit on September 11-12, the two countries plan to sign a project agreement on donation of supercomputers to the Kazakh side, the draft decree of the government of Kazakhstan on approval of the agreement.
It was earlier reported that Kazakhstan will sign a deal with the Chinese side on supercomputers for more than $15.6 million.
The supercomputers will be handed over for creation of the IT park on the basis of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
