Urumqi-Tashkent cargo flight launched

AKIPRESS.COM - The Urumqi-Tashkent cargo flight was launched on July 15. The cargo aircraft carrying clothing and electronic appliances made in China departed from Urumqi at 4.00 pm on Monday. The return fight will carry agricultural products from Tashkent, a representative of a local air service company said.
The flights will be operated 5-7 times a week if necessary, Xinhua reports.
Before goods were transported by rail and took 12 days. The launch of the cargo flight reduces the time of transportation to 3 hours.
Xinjiang operates 4 international cargo flights, including to Liege, Bishkek, Almaty and now Tashkent.
