Youth in southern region of Kyrgyzstan to be able to be employed in Japan

Osh, July 18, 2019 / Kabar /. Vice Mayor of Osh, Nurbek Kadyrov met on Wednesday with a delegation of the Japanese construction company Sheunanizawa, headed by chief director, Mr. Izawa.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and employment of citizens in Japan. The Japanese side said that Kyrgyzstanis, most of whom can be residents of the south, have the opportunity to find a job in Japan in four main areas: social sphere, construction, hotel business and IT technology.
"We want to employ Kyrgyzstanis in Japan. However, for this they need to know Japanese at least at the elementary level. To this end, the Center for Japanese Education was opened on the basis of the Osh State Pedagogical Institute. In addition, the institute has a social college, students of which also can be employed in Japan after completing their studies and learning the language. There is an initiative to create about 3,400 jobs for Kyrgyz in Japan during three years. Most of them can be the inhabitants of the south. In addition, students also have the opportunity to undergo internships and training in Japanese institutions and enterprises," the Japanese said.
Also, Mr. Izawa added that many of those students who studied in Japan are currently working in Kyrgyzstan in various fields, including construction, in the road sector.
The sides also discussed a proposal to hold days of Japanese culture in Osh. In particular, there was an initiative to invite Japanese pop singers to the celebration of Independence Day of the Republic in the city of Osh.
Vice Mayor Kadyrov emphasized that in Osh there are many lovers of the Japanese language and the development of bilateral relations will contribute to deepening the study of the culture of the Japanese people by the residents of the city.
