Korean PM says he is glad that project on improvement of electoral system was successfully implemented in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of South Korea Lee Nak-yeon during the talks with the Kyrgyz PM Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said that he is glad that the project on improvement of electoral system of Kyrgyzstan has been successfully implemented. "We will successfully implement the KOICA project on improvement of electoral system of Kyrgyzstan. It's a great honor and joy for us that this was a contribution to the development of electoral system and democracy. If there are other areas, where we can assist, we will be very happy," he said.
Abilgaziyev, in turn, thanked the Korean side for assistance in provision of conditions for implementation of fair and open elections.
According to him, South Korea allocated $6 million 125 thousand and provided special equipment for elections.
The Korean PM is on official visit in Kyrgyzstan from July 17 to July 19.
