PM Abilgaziyev asks Korean counterpart to "keep strong bridge of friendship’ between countries

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev upon completion of the meeting with his South Korean colleague Lee Nak-yeon said that the Korean people are close friends of the Kyrgyz Republic. Abilgaziyev asked the Korean PM to "preserve a strong bridge of friendship" between the countries.
"We are bound by a great historical past. Today we have more than 17 thousand ethnic Koreans - citizens of Kyrgyzstan. There are a lot of successful entrepreneurs, scientists, athletes and public figures, who are proud of Kyrgyzstan among them," Abylgaziyev said.
According to him, there are more than 6 thousand Kyrgyz people in South Korea, including 400 students, who study in Korean universities.
