AKIPRESS.COM - During his working visit to Atyrau region on July 17-18, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin visited oil and gas enterprises, got acquainted with construction of new industrial facilities and held a meeting on local content development, oil and gas engineering, and compliance with labor legislation of Kazakhstan, his press service said.
He also visited the third generation plant under construction at the Tengiz field, which is being built as part of the Future Expansion Project implemented by Tengizchevroil LLP. The project will be completed in 2022.
The prime minister of Kazakhstan also overflew the Kashagan field and the island "D," where oil is being produced with its primary separation, with further transportation by pipeline to the Bolashak plant.
As part of the trip, Mamin held a meeting on the development of local content, oil and gas engineering, compliance with labor laws of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, issues of compliance with labor legislation of Kazakhstan were discussed, namely, the introduction of subsoil users at enterprises of vertical control in relation to contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe working conditions, residence of workers, as well as a fair remuneration system.
The PM then visited the Atyrau Refinery complex for deep oil refining, AtyrauNefteMash, FEZ National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark, Polymer Production, Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc., Karabatan Utility Solutions, Bolashak oil and gas processing plant, an enterprise for the production of optical cables of various brands, etc.
