Kyrgyzstan to launch key innovative digital solution within one month

Bishkek, July 19, 2019. /KIabar/. A key innovative digital solution under the working title Government as a Platform will be launched in Kyrgyzstan at the end of August, Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Dastan Dogoyev told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that, it is a virtual space (smart solution) for citizens to receive a wide range of services (public and private) through the interaction of government and business at one point using digital technologies.
"The innovation is of a social nature and allows for quicker, easier, more convenient, time-saving, contactless interaction and receiving various kinds of information. The concept of Government as a Platform is expected to become a successful case of partnership between the state and the business sector in the face of the banking and telecommunications sectors. The launch of the solution should result in the automated receipt of 189 services by Kyrgyz citizens, reduction of queues by 30% in the Public Service Centers, transfer within the framework of the initiative of about 0.5 million people for digital interaction and, as a consequence, increase in the level of satisfaction of the population with digital services," Dogoyev said.
Chairman Dogoyev said digital transformation is not just a mechanical process of automation and conversion into an electronic format of interaction. "This is a new philosophy and ideology for digital nomads. It is an opportunity for Kyrgyzstan to find its niche in the global digital economy and not to lose its national identity in the age of globalization," he said.
