Sooronbay Jeenbekov visits Osh Oblast

Bishkek, July 20, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov continues his trips to the regions of the country. Saturday, July 20 he visited remote villages Sary-Tash and Kun-Elek of Alai region, Osh Oblast.
At the meeting with the President, the residents of these villages voiced urgent problems. One of the main issues of concern to the villagers is the problem with schools.
The residents also told about the lack of access to health care facilities and the need for primary care physicians, and touched on the social protection of villagers.
In conversation with them, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that the construction of a new school building will begin in the spring of 2020 in the village of Sary-Tash. The construction of the school building in Kun-Elek village is planned to be completed in October 2019.
As the President noted, the relevant public authorities and local authorities will work on all other issues raised by the residents.
