Final stage of special tactical exercises in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 20, 2019. /Kabar/. The Sary Tash-2019 final stage of the special tactical exercise took place at the Sary Tash training ground of Chong-Alay region of Osh Oblast on July 20.
The exercises were conducted in accordance with the plan of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of structural units of the State Border Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Committee for National Security and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Sooronbay Jeenbekov observed the exercise and familiarized with weapons and military equipment.
Within the framework of the Sary Tash-2019 tactical exercise, interagency coordination and cooperation in the preparation and conduct of a special operation to block and destroy illegal armed groups has been developed.
The tasks of protecting the state border, resettling local residents, releasing hostages, and blocking and destroying militants were successfully completed.
In his speech, President Jeenbekov noted that strengthening national security is the main direction of domestic and foreign policy of the country.
The Kyrgyz leader stressed the importance of uniting the efforts of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies and local authorities to ensure effective coordination of forces.
The head of state stressed that these exercises contribute to the strengthening of the national security of the state and are in line with the spirit of cooperation with neighboring countries.
Jeenbekov expressed gratitude to the representatives of partner countries, who are helping Kyrgyzstan to increase the potential of the national army.
The event was attended by military attachés of Russia, Kazakhstan and India, the leadership of the Kant Russian military base in Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
