Kazakhstan introduces free visa regime for more countries

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan established a free visa regime with 61 countries, the press service of the Migration Service Committee of the Ministry of Interior Affairs reported.
The free visa regime was unilaterally provided to 45 countries with the term up to 10 days, the statement says.
On a bilateral basis, Kazakhstan concluded the agreements with 19 countries, including Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia and Ukraine - up to 90 days; Azerbaijan, Argentina, Brazil, South Korea, Cuba, UAE, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Ecuador - up to 30 days; Hong Kong - up to 14 days.
Foreign citizens must get registered within 5 days after entrance to Kazakhstan in accordance with the law of the country on migration of the population.
Foreign citizens with electronic visa are freed from registration in the migration service of the country. Authorities since the beginning of 2019 launched a mechanism of registration of a single entry visa for foreigners in electronic format. The e-visa is registered via visa migration portal.
