Bishkek, July 23, 2019. /Kabar/. An eco-art camp for children is being held in the Kara-Kuzhur valley of Naryn Oblast for the first time, the press service of the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union of Germany (NABU) in Kyrgyzstan reported.
They note that the event, attended by children from 9 to 14 years old, is held together with "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" International Public Foundation.
"The program of the art camp is organized in such a way that the participants could get an idea of ecology, and learn how to express their thoughts on ecology and environmental protection through different types of art: cinema, acting, painting. The proposed genres of art also contribute to the emancipation of children, liberation from negativity, discovery of talents, and conflict prevention," the press service of the NABU said.
