President Jeenbekov receives member of Turkish Parliament Yıldırım Tugrul Turkesh

Bishkek, July 23, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Yıldırım Tugrul Turkesh.
Jeenbekov expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral cooperation and noted that Turkey is a brotherly and friendly country for Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
The President recalled that, a meeting of the High Council for Strategic Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey was held in 2018, which had not been held since 2014.
He stressed the need to increase trade and economic ties and identify other promising areas in the economy.
The Turkish deputy thanked the president for the meeting and noted that the intensification of the inter-parliamentary dialogue has a beneficial effect on the development of bilateral cooperation between the countries as a whole.
Yıldırım Tugrul Turkesh stressed that the Turkish side is always open to a constructive dialogue and expressed readiness for further fruitful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
