Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan reportedly to hold border talks on weekend

AKIPRESS.COM - The leaders of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are expected to hold two meetings in Isfara and Vorukh at the end of this week, Asia-Plus reports with reference to a source in Isfara town administration. At the first meeting in Isfara, the Presidents, heads of line agencies will consider demarcation and delimitation of the remaining undefined border sections.
Civil society activists of border areas of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan may invited for the meeting in Vorukh.
Vice Prime Minister of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim and Sughd region administration officials are in Isfara for organization of the meeting of the two Presidents.
