Suspects of attacking inspectors detained in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Akmolin regional police detained the suspects of attacking inspectors of the anti-poaching company RSE PA Ohotzooprom, police reported.
As a result of a complex of measures, a 45-year-old man and his 20-year-old son were arrested by police officers. Both of them are residents of Arkalyk town. The suspects attempted to get rid of the car, however, they were detained before doing that on the territory of Kostanay region.
The pre-trial investigation is underway.
Two inspectors on July 23 received gunshots while attempting to catch the poachers and prevent killing saigas. As a result, one of them was killed before arrival of doctors. The second inspector with severe traumas was delivered to a hospital.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev offered condolences to relatives of the killed inspector and ordered to award him with state award.
The head of state after the incident ordered toughen control over poaching in the country.
