Kazakhstan exports natural gas to Ukraine and import products — report

AKIPRESS.COM - The LS news agency prepared a report on trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Ukraine in January-May 2019. According to the infographics, bilateral trade amounted to $565.8 million within the reported period.
Export of Kazakhstan made 75% of the trade turnover and reached $424.7 million increasing by 26% than in January-May 2018.
64.5% of supplies are natural gas - $274 million. Kazakhstan also sells to Ukraine its coal, zink, ferrous metal products and food products.
While import from Ukraine within 5 months of 2019 decreased by 9% compared with the same period of 2018 up to $141.1 million.
The most share in import from Ukraine makes food products - $60.3 million. Among these products Kazakhstan buys confectionery, flour products, meats, cheeses and cottage cheese from Ukraine.
In addition, Kazakhstan buys Ukrainian drugs, cars, agricultural machinery, paper and rubber products.
