Oil refinery to appear in Turkestan region

AKIPRESS.COM - The oil refinery is being built in Ordabasin district, Turkestan region, Kazakhstan for 114 billion tenge, LS news agency reports. To date, construction works are 30% complete, according to the regional department of business administration and industrial-innovative development.
The plant's capacity will be 1 ton of oil a year. 400 new jobs will be created.
A similar project is being implemented in West Kazakhstan region. The project's cost is estimated at $420 million.
