Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to exchange visits

Bishkek, July 25, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov will make a short-term working visit to Isfara on July 26 at the invitation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Daniyar Sydykov, the head of the foreign policy department of the Kyrgyz President’s Office told.
He stressed that the talks of the heads of state are planned ones and are included in the regular practice, the President’s press service reported.
Daniyar Sydykov noted that during the talks, topical issues of bilateral cooperation will be discussed, including the processes of delimitation and demarcation of borders. The sides will focus on the development of cooperation in border areas, aimed at strengthening the good-neighborliness and friendship of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The head of the foreign policy department added that the second round of talks between the two heads of state will continue in Cholpon-Ata, where the meeting in Isfara summed up.
