Bishkek, July 25, 2019. / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister Zamirbek Askarov met with head of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in the Kyrgyz Republic Martin Negele on the occasion of completion of his mission.
Askarov thanked Negele for his work as head of the International Finance Corporation in the Kyrgyz Republic, the government’s press service reported.
He noted the great contribution and assistance of the IFC in the development of the country's economy, in particular on improving the conditions for doing business, increasing access to finance for small and medium-sized businesses, developing the mechanism of public-private partnership and others.
"I would also like to mention the help of your corporation in the preparation and implementation of the first PPP project in our country - organization of dialysis centers in Bishkek, Osh and Jalal-Abad," said the vice prime minister.
Askarov expressed gratitude on behalf of the prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished further success in his professional activities.
The priority of the IFC in the Kyrgyz Republic is to support the development and diversification of the private sector in order to improve the country's competitiveness and employment opportunities. IFC helps to improve the operating activities of companies, create a favorable business environment and increase access to finance for small and medium-sized businesses.
